# Notice

These files are the KiCad libraries, tag `10.0.7`, converted for the web by Volt Zero.

- 3D models: https://gitlab.com/kicad/libraries/kicad-packages3D/-/tree/10.0.7 (7161 models). Each STEP file was converted to triangle meshes (tessellated; coordinates quantised to 16 bits over the model's bounding box, normals to 8 bits) and stored in Volt's compact mesh form (`m/*.vm`). Each converted file keeps the original file's header — its copyright and licence notice — and its authors, inside the file. Nothing else was changed. The originals are next to the conversions, unchanged (`src/<Library>.3dshapes/<Name>.step`). 91 files could not be converted and are left out (`failed.json`). Some older models carry their original header's licence, the GPL 3.0 or later with KiCad's design exception (`LICENSE-GPL-3.0.txt`); their originals in `src/` are their source.

The files are provided without warranty of any kind. The data is separate from Volt Zero's software, which is under its own licence; using these files in a design does not put the design under CC-BY-SA (the exception in `LICENSE.md`).
